Privacy Policy

YourClass is a digital educational service provided and operated through this website by Faslak For Education & Training Computer Software, a licensed establishment in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy covers the website, user accounts, educational content, sharing links, and results created or displayed through the platform.

We may collect your name, email address, profile photo, language, and preferences when you create or use an account. When you choose Google Sign-In, we receive the basic identity information Google makes available, such as your email address, name, and photo; this flow does not request access to Gmail or Google Drive. When you sign up with email, the authentication system verifies and stores your password in a secure form, and YourClass cannot display it in its original form. We also process content and files you create or upload, participant names and results entered in shared activities, and technical information and security logs needed to operate and protect the service. When you purchase a Pro subscription, Lemon Squeezy processes the payment and billing details you enter on its checkout page. YourClass receives limited information needed to link the subscription to your account, verify your entitlement, and manage the subscription, such as customer, order, and subscription identifiers, the plan, subscription status, currency, and billing-period dates. The current integration does not transmit or store your full payment-card details in YourClass.

We use information to create and manage accounts, operate lessons, activities, and games, store and display content and results according to sharing settings and permissions, improve reliability and security, respond to support requests, and send operational messages or important service notices. We also use subscription data to confirm payment, activate Pro features, and manage renewals and cancellations.

A participant’s result may be visible to a teacher or to people who access a sharing link, depending on the activity settings. Participants may use a nickname, but the name they enter may be shown to authorized users. The activity creator is responsible for choosing suitable sharing settings and not publishing links containing personal information that should not be displayed.

YourClass does not currently send generation requests to an AI provider on your behalf or operate an embedded AI model inside the service. The platform may provide AI-assisted workflows and structured instructions that you can copy to an external service of your choice and then enter the result or content into YourClass. External services have their own terms and privacy policies, and you are responsible for reviewing the output and its suitability. Do not include sensitive student information in instructions or content sent to an external service.

We rely on service providers to operate parts of the platform, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Google when you choose Google Sign-In; Vercel for hosting; Resend for operational email; Cloudflare for email routing; and Lemon Squeezy for the Pro checkout and subscription management. For purchases made through its checkout, Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, applicable taxes, refunds, and chargebacks under its terms. Information entered in its checkout is subject to its privacy policy. These providers may process information according to their roles, terms, and privacy policies, and processing or transfers may occur outside your country subject to the arrangements and safeguards required by applicable law. The provider list may change as the operational setup changes, and we will update this policy when a change materially affects how information is handled.

Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy

Students generally do not need to create an account; they may enter through an assignment or sharing link and provide the name they choose to display with a result. Teachers or organizations using the platform are responsible for having the appropriate permission and basis to enter student data and for using only the minimum information needed for participation. YourClass generally does not ask a student for a password or email address merely to participate in an activity. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child’s information has been handled inappropriately, contact us using the address below.

We retain information while it is needed to operate an account or resource or for the purpose for which it was collected. When a user account is deleted, account data, content, and associated files are removed through the account-deletion process, and the link between educational results and the account, name, answers, and technical identifiers is removed so that any results retained for reporting appear as anonymous participation. We may retain limited information for an appropriate period when necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Billing and subscription records may be retained as needed for order administration, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect accounts and content, including authentication, permission controls, protected communications, and hosted services. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your credentials and do not share result links or access tokens unnecessarily. Do not send your password to the YourClass team; use the dedicated recovery flow if you forget it.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you may have rights to restrict or object to processing or request data portability. We may request appropriate information to verify your identity before completing a request. You can manage Google Sign-In from your Google Account, and you can request deletion of your YourClass account from its settings. The platform uses essential cookies to manage account sessions and may use local storage and session storage to remember language and preferences, retain a participant name, and support activity continuity and service security. Clearing this data in your browser may remove preferences or require you to enter a name again. We do not currently use cookies for targeted advertising or non-essential marketing analytics. If we add those tools, we will explain their use and update this policy when needed.

We may update this policy as YourClass or its services develop or as the way information is handled changes. The latest update date will appear on this page, and we will try to notify users of material changes through an appropriate channel when appropriate. A teacher's work in My Library is private by default. A student does not need a YourClass account; when opening an assignment, a participant may enter a display name, and the platform may retain the result, answers, completion time, and limited technical identifiers needed for service protection. If a teacher uses a real student's name or information that can identify a student, the teacher is responsible for having an appropriate legal basis, authority, and permissions and for entering only what is necessary. When a teacher creates an assignment or share link, the content may be available to people who have the access code or link according to the teacher's settings and expiry choice. When content is published to the Community Library or a public profile, its content, title, description, categories, and thumbnail may be public and may be cloned by other users inside YourClass. Do not include student names, student images, or personal information in public content or share links.
